Unstuck is New Yorker’s digital pick

This morning we chalked up one more reason to love “The New Yorker.” In the “Goings On” blog, the Unstuck app was named “digital pick” by senior web producer Sally Errico. She recommends Unstuck as an alternative to New Year’s resolutions, which, she says, seem a little frivolous, given the current state of the world. “What’s needed is planning, action, and maybe even some austerity measures—which is why the Unstuck iPad app, offered for free, is a tempting download.”

Hey, we’re not bragging—that’s what Lifehacker called it today in a short but very sweet app review on their blog. The admiration is mutual. The blog is a steady, thoughtful stream of new ways to get things done. And that makes life better.

UPDATE: Unstuck made Lifehacker’s “This Week’s Top Downloads” list, sharing space with the likes of Google, Microsoft, and iTunes. It’s nice to keep such good company.

Named App of the Week by AppAdvice

Yesterday, AppAdvice wrote a spot-on review of Unstuck, including “We are all responsible for our own results, and Unstuck provides some great tools to help us out.” Today, the site followed up by naming Unstuck one of the best new and updated iPad apps of the week. Such praise is gratifying, and we hope these mentions will spread the word. Because, in the end, Unstuck’s mission is not to win awards but to help people live better through community and by using innovative methods, such as those in the app.
